Predicted Target Size: 134 kDa (note) (6)
Positive Controls: EGF treated A431
Form Supplied: Liquid
Concentration: 0.36 mg/ml (Please refer to the vial label for the specific concentration)
Purification: Purified by antigen-affinity chromatography.
Full Name: epidermal growth factor receptor
Background: The protein encoded by this gene is a transmembrane glycoprotein that is a member of the protein kinase superfamily. This protein is a receptor for members of the epidermal growth factor family. EGFR is a cell surface protein that binds to epidermal growth factor. Binding of the protein to a ligand induces receptor dimerization and tyrosine autophosphorylation and leads to cell proliferation. Mutations in this gene are associated with lung cancer. Antigen Species: Human
Species Reactivity: Human
Conjugation: Unconjugated
Storage Buffer: 1XPBS, 1% BSA, 20% Glycerol (pH7). 0.025% ProClin 300 was added as a preservative.
Storage Instruction: Keep as concentrated solution. Aliquot and store at -20ÂșC or below. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
Specificity: The full-length EGFR includes the 24 aa signal peptide that is cleaved during EGFR maturation. The Tyr974 of mature EGFR is equivalent to Tyr998 of uncleaved EGFR.
