Product Name: KLF1 antibody, N-term
Applications: ChIP assay
Predicted Target Size:
Positive Controls: The peptide used to product this antibody is available for purchase (Catalog Number:GTX89710-PEP).
Form Supplied: Liquid
Concentration: 0.5 mg/ml (Please refer to the vial label for the specific concentration)
Purification: Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Full Name: Kruppel-like factor 1 (erythroid)
Background: Transcription regulator of erythrocyte development. Binds to the CACCC box in the beta-globin gene promoter and activates transcription. Probably serves as a general switch factor for erythroid development. When sumoylated, acts as a transcriptional repressor by promoting interaction with CDH2/MI2beta and also represses megakaryocytic differentiation.
Synonyms: monoclonal antibody A3D8, erythroid Kruppel-like factor, EKLF, Kruppellike factor 1 (erythroid), Kruppellike factor1 (erythroid), INLU, KLF1, erythroid Kruppellike factor, KLF1 / EKLF, Kruppel-like factor 1 (erythroid), HBFQTL6, erythroid Kruppel like factor
Cellular Localization: Colocalizes with SUMO1 in nuclear speckles.
